16 Awesome Freelancing Tips to Help You Boost Your Biz in 2016

Written by Lizzie

Lizzie is a professional business and marketing writer who quit her job back in 2014 to move to Spain and become a freelancer. She's now back in the UK and writing for a roster of clients she absolutely loves as well as running Wanderful World, a site that helps new freelancers set the foundations for a lucrative and long-term career.

December 17, 2015

Things are starting to wind down into the Christmas season. We’ve had all year to hustle our asses off, and now it’s time to sit back and reap the benefits of the freelancing tips we’ve picked up along the way, right?

Or, should I say, it’s time to sit back and go crazy trying to control all the ideas we have for 2016. If you’re anything like me, your notebook is fit to burst and your brain is following a similar tune.

There’s SO much I have planned for the next year that it boggles my mind just thinking about it. One of the main things I want to do, though, (just like you, probably) is to improve my freelancing business.

This year was AH-MAZING work-wise, but I don’t want to stagnate. I want to get bigger and better as the months go by. I want to be landing clients I absolutely love time and time again, and I want to build a name for myself.

This year was also AH-MAZING for this blog. It’s grown exponentially in the last few months and is now an awesome community of freelancers (thank you all SO much for being here, you have no idea how much it means).

I’ve written tons of freelancing tips posts in 2015 that help you to boost your biz, offer nuggets of advice from the depths of my mind, and share stories about my own freelancing journey so far.

To pay homage to the awesome year that has been 2015, I thought I’d put together a selection of some of the best freelancing tips I’ve offered on Wanderful World this year. It includes everything from marketing your biz to landing clients, blogging, and working from home without tearing your hair out.

I’d love for you to take some time to browse the freelancing tips that interest you and, if you feel the pull, let me know what topics you’d like to see covered next year (let’s make this thang shiiiine!).
